Thou Art That

To prepare for our class on May 1st:

Please read:

• All 20 sutras (the sutras are summarized on pp. xx-xxiii)
• Swamiji’s commentary on sutra 19 (pages 339-354)

Write a 1-2 page paper that summarizes your understanding of the Pratyabhijnahrdayam. Please include the following:

• A short summary of the primary teachings of the text
• How these teachings are relevant to ordinary life

Please be sure that at least 3/4 of your paper focuses on your understanding of the text. Once you have clearly communicated the teachings of the text, then relate them to your own life experience!
