In preparation for Monday’s class, please watch this TED talk by MIT scientist Jeff Lieberman. See if you can find the synchronicities between his ideas and the teachings of nondual tantra.

Third Essay Question: due on Wednesday April 13th
What distinguishes asceticism, hatha yoga, and tantra? What are specific differences and continuities between these aspects of yoga history? Within the essay be sure that you clearly define each of these three categories based on reading material and lecture notes and then make your comparative argument.
Please underline your thesis statement in the opening paragraph of your essay. Your essay should be one page in length, about 450-500 words long.
